Strengthening Community Health Through Capacity Building and Safe Programming

The Rehabilitation Empowerment and Better Health Initiative (REBHI) is pleased to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive training for Community Nutrition Mobilizers (CNMs) and Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) on Social and Behavior Change Approaches (SBCA).

The training focused on strengthening participants’ knowledge and skills in key areas, including:

✅ Safe Referral Pathways
✅ Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Guiding Principles
✅ Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP)
✅ Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA)
✅ Community-Centered and Ethical Service Delivery

This capacity-building initiative was designed to enhance the ability of CNMs and CHVs to provide safe, ethical, and effective support to communities, reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality community health interventions.

In addition, an onboarding session facilitated by our Human Resources Coordinator ensured that all participants were adequately oriented on REBHI’s organizational policies, values, and operational guidelines, enabling them to carry out their responsibilities with professionalism and integrity.

Together, we are building stronger, safer, and more resilient communities through knowledge, collaboration, and dedication to community health and well-being.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants and facilitators for their commitment, active engagement, and passion for creating positive change.
