REBHI recently conducted a Natural Resources Management (NRM) training for members of the Jere Community NRM Committee, strengthening their knowledge and capacity to sustainably manage and protect the natural resources within their community.

The training brought together community representatives to explore practical approaches to responsible natural resource management, with a focus on protecting the environment while supporting the needs and livelihoods of local communities.

A key focus of the training was community participation. Participants were encouraged to take an active role in identifying environmental challenges, developing locally appropriate solutions, and promoting responsible use of available natural resources.

The training also emphasized the importance of locally driven action in building resilient communities. By strengthening the capacity of community structures, REBHI aims to support communities in taking ownership of natural resource management and contributing to long-term environmental sustainability.
