At REBHI, we remain committed to restoring dignity, promoting health, and empowering women and girls in conflict-affected communities. In 2020, with generous support from the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund (NHF), REBHI successfully distributed 1,600 dignity kits to women and girls of reproductive age in Jere and Monguno Local Government Areas of Borno State.
The dignity kits—containing essential hygiene items—were designed to support the personal health, hygiene, and well-being of women and girls, particularly those facing displacement and limited access to basic services. This intervention addressed both the practical and protection needs of beneficiaries, helping them manage their menstrual hygiene safely and with dignity.
Through this initiative, REBHI not only provided critical supplies but also reaffirmed its commitment to:
- Protecting the rights and dignity of women and girls
- Strengthening community resilience through targeted support
- Fostering empowerment in humanitarian and post-crisis contexts
