About Us
REBHI is a national nonprofit and non-governmental organization established on the 30th of March, 2017, and registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with Registration No. 96558. It was formed by a group of professionals from diverse backgrounds, including legal, health, agriculture, education, environment, and other fields of social sciences and political economics within the humanitarian and development sectors.
The organization is dedicated to responding to the needs of vulnerable communities by supporting self-reliant empowerment activities, particularly for women, youth, and other underserved groups. REBHI’s work includes fostering safer communities through initiatives that promote resilience, support health and well-being, and address systemic challenges such as land titling and peacebuilding.
A significant focus of REBHI is on addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV). The organization is committed to GBV prevention and response, offering essential support and resources to survivors. Our efforts include advocacy, legal assistance, health services, and educational programs designed to empower women and youth, ensuring they can contribute meaningfully to their communities.
REBHI has also implemented diverse projects, including a developmental humanitarian project and on Systematic Land Titling, Food Security and Livelihood, WaSH, GBV and a peacebuilding initiative, both of which reflect its commitment to sustainable development and community empowerment.
