DIGNITY KITS DISTRIBUTION

The Distribution of Dignity Kits to beneficiaries from the ten selected IDP camps of Jere and Monguno LGAs of Borno State was aimed at addressing the critical dignity needs of women and girls of reproductive age from these communities through the timely provision of these kits. In each of the camp visited fifteen to thirty minutes sensitization lectures on the proper utilization and usage of dignity kits content and menstrual hygiene management was given to the beneficiaries before the distribution proper.

Partners through the GBV sub-sector do the distribution of the dignity kits. The dignity kits were given to partners that are implementing in the targeted area (Monguno and Jere LGAs) based on request and eligibility criterion of REBHI.

REBHI DIGNITY KITS PRODUCTION AND ASSEMBLY CENTER

To increase access to critical dignity and menstrual hygiene services of women and girls of reproductive age, REBHI established dignity kit production and assemble center (funded by NHF). Twenty (20) affected women and girls of reproductive age in Jere and Monguno LGA of Borno state were empowered and trained on the production of standard reusable sanitary pads and assembly of dignity kit for self-dependence.
